S-table

The S-table continues the exploration of the earlier product line, Off the Gireed. While Off the Gireed worked with the natural material of palm fiber, the S-table draws formal inspiration from the intricate patterns of palm fiber products while using locally grown Aleppo pine wood. The base consists of interlocking wooden blocks arranged in a dynamic, grid-like pattern, echoing the structural linear grids created by the interlocking midribs in palm crates. The wooden elements vary in height and orientation, creating a visually engaging texture that changes depending on the viewer’s perspective. The tabletop is clear glass, allowing complete visibility of the intricate wooden base.
